I am very sorry to hear this. I hope the person responsible for selling these dolls finds a legitimate way of earning instead of taking your ideas and simply replicating them. Surely they do not receive the joy in creating and cannot be considered an artist by any means. I commend you on your achievements within the handmade community and wish you all the best for the future.Amanda
oh, I'm really sorry for you ! courage
Thank you for letting us know about it. You are very right to do it. Geneviève
I'm sorry to hear this and hope it doesn't keep your thoughts occupied for too long. Here's something that I always find helpful and maybe you will too. Ritisha“When you do any kind of creative work there is an energy to it. This energy is made up of everything that is you, your personality, your life experience, the books you have read, the things that you are drawn to as a human being. This energy gives the work life and this is what people respond to when they see it. When someone copies you, their work will not have this same life or energy. It will not have the essence of you and consequently it will have a flatness to it.” (http://www.kerismith.com/blog/what-to-do-about-plagarism/)
Thank you all :)Thank you Ritisha, your words really help a lot :)Thank you
You are welcome and I'm so happy that it helped (not my words, but that of a very wise teacher!). When you get a second, will you take a look at my latest email and reply if you have a moment? I know you are a busy gal making all of those lovely creations of yours. :)
